Relocations & Reconnections in Worcester

Moving or reconnecting? We carry your setup over cleanly.

Overview

Moving house within Worcester, or bringing a dish that has sat unused over the off-season back to life? Relocations are one of those jobs that look small and go wrong easily — a dish taken down without noting its aim, a decoder that will not re-activate, perished cable that should have been replaced while everything was open. We make the move the easy part of moving.

We remove your existing equipment carefully, re-install it at the new address, re-align the dish to the degree for its new line of sight, and reconnect your decoders and TVs. Where cable has perished in the valley heat, we swap it out then and there rather than leaving you a fault waiting to happen. Then we test it through before we go.

Dormant installations — a holiday cottage or guest farm that has been closed up for a season — often just need re-pointing, a fresh connector or two and a reactivation. If that is your situation, it is worth reading our notes on getting a guesthouse or guest farm signal-ready before the season starts. And because a relocation is really a fresh install at the new spot, it gets the same careful alignment as any new job.

Tell us the old address and the new one and we will plan the cleanest way to carry it across, anywhere in the Breede River Valley.

Relocations & Reconnections FAQs

I'm moving to a new house within Worcester — can you move my DStv?
Yes, relocations within Worcester and the wider Breede Valley are one of our most common jobs. We uninstall your dish and decoder at the old place, remount and realign everything at the new address, and confirm full signal before we go. Book online and we'll fit the move around your moving day.
Can I reuse my existing dish and decoder after moving?
In most cases yes — if your dish, LNB and decoder are in good condition, we simply remount and realign them at the new property. Occasionally a sun-perished cable or bent bracket needs replacing after years in the inland heat, which we'll flag before doing any work. Reusing your gear keeps the relocation cost down.
We're relocating from a farm near De Doorns into town — is that a problem?
Not at all; we cover the whole Breede River Valley, from De Doorns and the Hex River farms through to central Worcester and out to Robertson. Signal alignment differs between an open farm and a built-up street, so we recalibrate the dish for your new location. Just give us the address and we'll plan the route and timing.
My DStv was disconnected — can you reconnect it?
Yes, we handle reconnections whether your service lapsed, you moved in with an existing dish, or a previous install was left incomplete. We test the dish, LNB and cabling, sort out any faults, and get your decoder authorised and viewing again. If the issue turns out to be signal-related, our signal repair service covers that too.
How soon can you do a relocation or reconnection?
We aim to fit relocations and reconnections in quickly, often within a day or two around Worcester, subject to how busy the schedule is. Moving season and the run-up to big sport can get busy, so booking a few days ahead is wise. WhatsApp or call us on 079 754 5527 and we'll give you the earliest realistic slot.
The new house already has a dish — do I still need an installer?
Often yes, because a dish left by previous owners may be misaligned, corroded, or wired for a different setup. We'll inspect it, realign to the correct satellite, and replace any perished cabling before connecting your decoder. That way you avoid pixelation and 'no signal' errors down the line, especially during summer storms.
