TV Wall Mounting in Worcester

Securely mounted screens with hidden, tidy cabling.

Overview

A wall-mounted TV transforms a room — when it is dead level, properly secure, and the cables are nowhere in sight. We mount on brick, plaster, drywall or face-brick, pick the right bracket for your screen and wall, conceal the cabling, and set it at the perfect viewing height so you are not craning your neck through every braai-night rugby match.

The wall type matters more than people expect, and it is where DIY jobs come unstuck. A heavy screen needs the right fixings into the right substrate — get it wrong on plaster or drywall and the bracket lets go down the line. We fix into what is actually behind your wall, not just what is on the surface, so it holds for good. There is a quick rundown of the pitfalls in our guide to mounting a TV on brick or plaster.

While we are there we will connect your decoder, soundbar and devices and tidy the lot away. It pairs neatly with a decoder upgrade or a fresh DStv install, so you can have the whole lounge sorted in one visit.

Homes, offices, shops and guesthouse rooms — wherever the screen needs to go up safely and look clean, we do it across Worcester and the valley.

TV Wall Mounting FAQs

Can you mount my TV on a thick farmhouse or double-brick wall in Worcester?
Yes. Many older Worcester and Breede River Valley farmhouses have solid double-brick or stone walls, so we bring proper masonry bolts and a heavy-duty bracket rated for the weight of your set. We check the wall type on arrival and pick the fixing that will actually hold, rather than a plug that pulls loose over time.
Will you hide the cables so the wall looks neat?
Absolutely — a tidy install is the point. We can run the HDMI and power cabling inside trunking painted to match your wall, or chase it into the plaster where the wall allows, so nothing dangles below the screen. For guesthouse lounges and farm stoep areas we always aim for a clean, professional finish that suits the room.
What height should the TV be mounted at?
As a rule we set the centre of the screen close to eye level for where you'll usually be sitting, which is a bit lower than most people expect. In open-plan farmhouse living rooms we'll check sightlines from the couch and dining area first, and we're happy to hold the bracket up so you can approve the position before we drill.
Do you install tilting or swivel brackets?
Yes — fixed flat, tilting, and full-motion swivel brackets are all available depending on your room. Tilting mounts help cut glare from Worcester's bright afternoon sun through big windows, and swivel arms are popular in guesthouses where guests watch from different angles. We'll advise which suits your wall and screen size.
Can you mount a TV outside on a covered patio or lapa?
We can mount on a covered, weather-protected patio or lapa using a suitable bracket, but the inland dust and summer thunderstorms mean the set itself needs to be shielded from blowing rain and grit. We'll talk through weatherproofing and cable routing so your outdoor screen lasts — get in touch and we'll assess the spot.
Do you also sort out the DStv connection while mounting the TV?
Yes, we can mount the TV and connect it to your decoder and dish in the same visit, so you're watching straight away. If you're adding extra points or a new decoder, we'll handle the cabling and setup together to save you a second call-out.
